(MTh)

CSU’s Master of Theology course is designed to give a broad grasp of the major issues in contemporary theology, to establish a sound knowledge and facility in the use of the appropriate methods in theological study, and advanced knowledge of at least one major sub-discipline.

Objectives

Upon completion of the Master of Theology degree, it is expected that students will be able to:

  • articulate a broad understanding of the scope and disciplines of theological study
  • show advanced competence in methods of theological research
  • demonstrate advanced competence in one of the following specialist theological fields:
    • Biblical Studies
    • Systematic Theology
    • Church History
