Carolyn is a trained teacher who has worked in both public and private schools in New Zealand, Fiji and Australia. She comes from an Anglican and Methodist background in New Zealand, and is an ordained Minister of the Uniting Church. She has ministered in congregations in Fiji and Australia, and has also served as a Presbytery Minister and as an Intentional Interim Minister. Carolyn has been in the Acting Coordinator role from the end of 2008.
Carolyn is Executive Officer of the Synod Selection Panel. Her work entails liaising with Applicants and Candidates and seeing Candidates through the Formation/Preparation for Ministry process at UTC.
As Chairperson of Transforming Practices, Carolyn brings to her role at College a wealth of knowledge about pastoral and professional supervision. She was a CPE Level 1 Supervisor and is now a Supervisor recognized by ASCCANZ.
Her interests are in the Practice of Ministry and UCA Formation.
