Katalina joined the teaching faculty of UTC in late 2007. Prior to that she lived in London for almost ten years, seven of which she worked as Executive Secretary for Racial Justice & Multicultural Ministry for the United Reformed Church in the UK. She has lived in several different countries and her passion and commitment to the vision of the multicultural community of Christ has been a driving force in her life and ministry, and has led to her involvement with global ecumenical and mission bodies including the World Council of Churches, the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, the Council for World Mission, and with local and national ecumenical partners around the world. As the  Director of the Communitas Programme at UTC, her work involves teaching and developing contextual mission and theology programs as she completes her PhD studies in Theology at the University of Birmingham, UK. She has degrees in English, philosophy and discrimination law from the universities of NSW and London. She is married to Andrew and they have a 14-year-old daughter, Lilliani.
