About Christine

Christine is a Uniting Church minister whose work background includes time as Principal, United Bible Training Centre, Gujranwala, Pakistan 1990-2003, Formation Coordinator, Centre For Theology and Ministry Synod VicTas 2012 – 2016. Christine was originally ordained as Minister with the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand, and is now a minister is the Uniting Church in Australia
Christine has a long-held passionate interest in discovering how best to support people in their formation for Christian discipleship and ministry. Through research and experience she has worked collaboratively to develop supportive environments, processes and programmes for effective formation, with particular experience in formation for ordained ministries in the Uniting Church in Australia.
Christine is Executive Officer of the Synod Selection Panel. Her work entails liaising with Applicants and Candidates and Presbyteries in seeing Candidates through the Formation/Preparation for Ministry process at UTC.
