Duncan Macleod joined Uniting Mission & Education in January 2014 to take on an interim intentional ministry role as Director of the newly established “Uniting Learning Network”. Duncan has worked for the Uniting Church in Australia as Minister (Robina, Indooroopilly, Wesley Mission Brisbane, Edmonton), mission consultant and Vision for Mission Advocate (Queensland Synod), lecturer and resource developer (Pilgrim Learning Community and Trinity Theological College), and Presbytery Minister Mission/Education (Canberra Region). He was previously a minister in Tokoroa, New Zealand, and National Youth Ministry Coordinator for the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Research Interests

Duncan’s research includes media studies, generational theory, youth ministry, sociology of religion, missiology, Christian gospel, leadership communities, religious education, advertising and marketing. Duncan is writing a D.Min dissertation, “Generations in Conversation: A Ministry Formation approach to generational change”. He is a member of the Australian Association for Mission Studies.
