Miriam Pepper is the Uniting Earth Ministry Consultant and works alonside the Uniting Earth Minister Dr Jason Johns. Dr Pepper has been a researcher at NCLS Research and Research Fellow at Australian Catholic University since 2011, Miriam has both quantitative and qualitative research skills, cross-disciplinary academic training (in engineering, German language, environmental science and the social sciences), and a background of community environmental activism.

Miriam’s research interests include sustainable living, consumer studies, environmental psychology and sociology, psychology and sociology of religion, ecotheology, intersections between religion and consumerism, intersection between religion and politics, community food systems, social movements and social capital.

Miriam will be teaching THL211 – Creation and Ecology in third session 2016 with Dr Jason Johns.
