Peter has spent a lifetime researching leadership and church life here and overseas. The founding Director of NCLS Research for 25 years he has been involved in research and writing in the areas of church life and mission, wider community spirituality, religion, social policy, community development, personal and community wellbeing, values, effective leadership, positive psychology and strengths based thinking, and personal development, synthesising learning from different disciplines and ways of thinking. He is an honorary research fellow of the Edith Cowan University Social Justice Research Centre.
He is concerned to help people of all ages and backgrounds discover the leadership strengths they have and to make a positive and sustainable difference wherever they are. An avid walker in wilderness Tasmania and traveller in remote desert areas, Peter is concerned about the environment and social justice, and was an early part of the evolution of the Wilderness Society.
