Fee Help, available for Australian citizens, is provided for Commonwealth Supported Places, including the Bachelor of Theology. The Government pays a contribution directly to the University for the fees and you, as the student, pay the remainder of $6,336 which is known as the ‘student contribution’, an average of $792 per 8 point subject. This is an estimated fee for your first year of study based on a full-time study load (eight 8 point subjects). Should you be studying less than eight subjects in your first year, the fees would be decreased proportionally.
Commonwealth Supported Places are offered to domestic undergraduate and postgraduate students, but postgraduate places are limited. If you receive a CSP you can choose to pay your fees as you go, or study first and pay later via the HECS/Fee-HELP loan system.
