INVITATION | Public Lectures in Systematic Theology

AN INVITATION | Tuesday 12 June 2018 | UTC

Come, hear and participate in the public lectures of the final two applicants for the position of Lecturer in Systematic Theology at United Theological College on Tuesday, 12 June 2018.

These two public lectures are an integral part of the selection process.

The aim of the lecture is to provide candidates with the opportunity to show their ability in presenting material, exhibiting competence in core Systematic Theology concepts, an application of them to context, and facility in taking questions and responding in a learning and teaching environment.

Tuesday 12 June, 2018
Lecture One | 9.00 – 10.00am
Lecture Two | 10.30 – 11.30am
Venue: UTC, The Centre for Ministry, 16 Masons Drive North Parramatta

The Lectures
The prospective members of faculty have been asked to speak to either of these two topics:
–  Discuss the implications of the Christology in the Gospel of Mark, or
–  Discuss the ecclesial ramifications of the resurrection of Christ
The lectures will be chaired by Professor Gerard Moore, the Academic Dean at United Theological College.

  • Staff of The Centre for Ministry with an interest in topics
  • Individuals with an interest in the lecture topics
