Seforosa Carroll is a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church of Australia and Manager – Church Partnerships, Pacific within the Church Connections Unit of UnitingWorld. She represents the UCA on the National Dialogue of Christians, Muslims and Jews, is part of the Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN), and is a member of the Sociology of Religion thematic group of The Australian Sociological Association (TASA). Sef is also the Administrator of Manahine Pasefika (Association of Oceanian Women Theologians), whose primary objective is to “make Oceanian women’s voices heard through print”.

Sef is currently completing her PhD at Charles Sturt University on “Making room for the religious other: reading interfaith dialogue and encounters in Australia from a feminist diasporic perspective”. Her theological research interests fall into two areas: cross cultural relationships/encounters/ theologies and interfaith dialogue. Sef has served as a congregational minister at Caves Beach and as chaplain to MLC School, Burwood. Sef teaches interfaith dialogue and contextual theologies and has published several articles in the area of contextual theology and interfaith dialogue.
